Add Icons to mfn-icons font files

There are some icons that I need to use with the other social media icons that aren't in the icon font. I have found a way to replace an existing icon with a custom icon I need in the font files. However, when I add those new font files to my child theme, they don't work. Is there a way for me to add custom icons to the child theme so I don't have to update the font files every time there is a theme update?

Hi,
cant you just upload the custom font in theme options>fonts>custom ?
We do not support direct file changes.

I could. But I want to add an icon that will be able to be integrated with the social media icons in the header and footer via the theme options. Is there a way to do that?
