How to change BreadCrumb settings

Hi All

I love this theme, however I think that the worst part is breadcrumb display.

I don't like that it duplicate post name, nor the fact that for long breadcrumb the div is growing too much in height.

I'd like to have a much styled breadcrumb.

The best should be having an option in theme admin, however can you guide me to remove title and put breadcrumb in that place?

In effect the problem is only on blog posts, pages usually don't have so many levels like posts, so breadcrumb are always shorter.

In addition I don't think is a good SEO practice to have 2 <h1> tag in one page, but with your breadcrumb implementation you will have a duplicated H1 tag for every post...

Hi,

if you want to replace title with breadcrumbs, you can do it header.php file on FTP. You will easily find title and creadcrumbs

However we don`t have two h1 on one page. Logo is h1 only on homepage but on the rest of pages h1 is title of page. This is what most users were asking in the past for long time and they appreciate it because their pages growing in google results.

Can you provide step-by-step instructions for replacing the page title with the breadcrumb? I have the header.php file open but don't know what exactly to change.

@portaltech & @pantera Please forget about last solution. We got something much easier and you don`t need to modify files. All you need to do is paste below css into Theme options > Layout > Custom CSS section:

#Subheader .title { float: right; text-align: right; }
#Subheader ul.breadcrumbs { float: left; text-align: left; }

This should be much easier and faster for you guys

@scaftop Yes, you can. Breadcrumbs you can remove under Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Subheader section but filters under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog section.

when I check:

Global > Head and Subtitle > Subtitle> HIDE > subtitle
(i check only to hide subtitle, the breadcrumb stay uncheck)

@assertiva Yes, this is normal. When you disable whole Subheader, it means that whole subheader with the title and breadcrumbs gone away.

We provide the breadcrumbs in Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Subheader

Be sure that 'Hide' option is not ticked on any checkbox

If you want to use a WooCommerce breadcrumbs and they are not working, then you have

to contact WooCommerce support because breadcrumbs for woocommerce is an additional plugin, and we do not support it.

It will surely be possible with CSS code, but I suggest not to do it, because the breadcrumbs elements does not have class applied, so all of them are just in the <li> element, see the screenshot to understand:https://prnt.sc/sd229z

So, to catch them you will have to use the :nth-child, but it will always remove the li which is first, second, third, so if you will be on page which does not have category(functionality of category), then it will remove the selected (by nth-child) element.
