Unable to comment on any posts

I can't figure out how to enable comments on any of my new or existing posts. I can't even find the word "comments" on the posts page. On the "posts" page of the admin page, I can select the posts and choose bulk edit -> enable comments, but it doesn't do anything. The "show comments" setting is enabled on the "blog post" page of the BeTheme options page.

The site in question is under development, but the staging site can be accessed here:

I'm happy to provide a temporary admin log-in to a Muffin Group support person.

please ma sure you enabled comments in theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>blog
also in each post there is an option to enable/disable disscussion

Hi,

Thanks, I know about both of those. The point is that the "Allow comments" item does not appear in any of my posts. See screenshot. This is true whether or not Yoast is enabled. (I added Yoast recently, but I have never been able to add comments.)

Hi Support Team,

I got a similar problem. I enabled comments in theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>blog (http://prntscr.com/i4egzs).

And enabled them on the blog page (https://prnt.sc/i23pbp). 

But there is still noch comment section in my blog (https://dieringe.com/blog/).

Could you please help me out here?

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of the browser and check if the issue still exists.
