Overlap when using fixed menu

When I am using a fixed menu instead of a classic one, I miss the first couple of lines. The menu is overlapping the first lines of that page Or, in case of a slider, the top part of that slider overlapped. Is this intended behavior or am I doing something wrong?

What is the solution here since I want to go for the fixed menu?

What you sent is a printscreen in fixed menu mode. Anither example is

What I expect is the following:

You can see that the top is missing/overlapped by the menu.

Please enable content padding in theme options>global>advanced.
Also change the minimalist setting in theme options>header.

When you turn on the header to fixed it means that it does not take any physical space on the page and this is why the content goes under it.

Do I understand you correctly in that you say: "No matter what your settings are. The overlap is as designed and cannot be undone?"

Playing with the configuration settings you mention I cannot find a solution that works for me.

In case of a fixed menu I can insert blank space on the top of every page but with a slider there is no chance to do so. On a mobile that does look ugly I guess.

What menu option do I choose to get a fixed menu which does not cover the top lines of the page In

The current  settings are:

theme options>header: minimalist without header space (I tried them all)

theme options>global>advanced: Content|Remove padding:  Off (I tried both)

I have checked this with the dev team and it seems that the fixed header will always go over the content. You could add top margin to the slider in RS plugin to make this happen.
Otherwise we suggest using a classic slider with the sticky header option enabled.

What is than the use of fixed menu when it always covers the top part of the screen?

We have to make adjustments to make it work. Better to prevent this behavior I would say

No really, you can create sections or subheaders with top padding and it will look fine. This option is used and it is supposed to work like that.

My customer prefers the fixed menu layout. Is there a simple way to inject padding to the each page where my home page has 4 slides using Slider revolution and several of the other pages each having it's own sidebar. Please have a look at solidifytraining,com. Which has in total 14 pages in 2 different languages

Therefor I am looking for a simple way.

The simplest way would be to edit each page and add top pading to the first section. There is no other universal sollution.
You could enable content padding in theme options>global>advaned but we do not thing it will be enough
