How to hide side slide menu on mobile after menu selection

Hey there,

I am working on a website and I noticed on mobile devices, with the side slide menu, the menu stays selected and open after you select a new anchor point on the page. All my links are custom links with anchor links (http://myurl.com/#anchor). How can I go about hiding the menu after a menu item has been selected?
