Menu underline

I think I have a problem regarding the underline in sticky menu. When I use regular labels all seems fine. Yet when I implement font awesome, the underscore gets lower under the icon. Does anyone know a possible reason / solution?

sorry but we do not support font awesome ad it may cause problems when using with ou theme.
