Columns display on top of each other instead of next to each other.

Hello, sorry for perhaps a rather basic question, but I'm new to WordPress. I'm using Visual Composer. I've created two columns for the home page on my site, and when I edit the page in Visual Composer I see the two columns correctly: a left column and a right column. But when I look at the page, the right column is below the left column instead of next to it. How can I fix this? The page is here: http://development.pipersgathering.org.

Hi,

this is because of your custom css that you used inside VC.

.vc_custom_1424967690427 {
    margin-right: 5px !important;
}

Thank you for the reply. I'm not clear, though: is this custom CSS that I need to add, or is it somewhere that I need to remove? I just used the shortcodes for columns, I didn't add any CSS myself.
