Image view with translucent background

I would like to set the gallery view as on the page http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/bw/!   So that the background is translucent, if I click on a picture. Which attitude do I have to activate in my gallery? 

I have currently set it as a portfolio ( Item column) as follows:

but it is a newer version. I have not received a message updating. How do I recognize the theme version? thanks

Your version of the theme is 17.7 and to update it you need to remove the theme folder completly and download the newest version of the theme from your themeforest account.
When you update you will no longer need to go thru this procedure because the theme updates will be available in wordpress.
