How to show the drop down menu over the post/blog photos

Hi!
I am trying to configure an Dropdown menu in the blog with the plugin MEGA MENU

You can see what I have here (web in Spanish!)

As you can see, if you select "Nuestros paises" comes a drop down menu, but it hides behind the photo. I have tried to put the CSS z-index as high as possible, but still the picture appears in the front of the page.

The drop down menu appears on the sidebar and it works fine.

Any ideas how can I make that the picture stays behind the drop down menu?
