Translation of woocommerce

I created the
it_IT.po and it_IT.mo files to translate betheme into Italian and put
them in the language directory, but it does not seem to be used by
betheme.
What should I do to get them used by betheme?
For example, for
woocommerce not all translations are taken from the it_IT.po and
it_IT.mo files, some are taken from the betheme
language files, but if I can not get betheme to use it_IT.po and it_IT.mo that I created them remain in English.
Can yuo help me?

Comments
all the translations are done automatically for most of the options when you set up the wordpress and user languages. Any modifications in the translations of the theme is up to the user.
All the lang files are in betheme/languages/
