featured pic vs no featured pic

Hey there,

I'm using the 'press' theme and I can't figure out why some posts show a featured pic area and some do not.

Hi,
please edit that single post and set the featured image, then it will display.

Well, neither of those posts have featured image. Thats why I don't understand why one shows the blank space for it and the other does not. Some posts would be fine to not have a featured image, so I'd like them to not have a blank thumbnail if possible.

Can you please change back to the previous settings so we can inspect again the issue, we did not understand it correctly, sorry for that.
