layer slider requesting for purchase code

i just bought the betheme and layer slider is requesting for activation code. i inserted the code i got with my purchase but i keep on getting the message that the purchase code is invalid. thats the only code i have and only code i used to activate the theme.

Hi,

purchase codes (license keys) are not included for plugins which are bundled into the theme. It’s because of Themeforest license & agreements. This applies to all themes of course. However, there is no need to use this code because the plugins are fully functional without it. I
Something like “Free” version of a plugin does not exist. All bundled plugins are included with extended licenses and users can use these plugins within the theme without needing to purchase them separately. This is standard and according to ThemeForest rules.

My layer slider is refusing to update automatically to 6.7.1 it keeps telling me 

Update package not available

How can i update it as i have tried for over a week without success

Try disabling all plugins and then running the update.
