Change labels in admin panel (ex: in portfolio editor, change labels to match translations entered)

Hello,

Is there a way to change the text for the admin panel labels in the backend to match up with those that you can change in the translate section? For example I am using the portfolio post type but instead of "Task" I am having it say "When" so people can add different info. On the front end it says "When" but the admin panel still shows "Task" when entering in the info.

Is there a place in the files where I can change this (im using a child theme).

HI,
there is no easy way. All custom post types are inside betheme/functions
For example you can edit the meta-portfolio.php file and change the name there.
