WPSOLR integration into Be Theme

I have a running SOLR index with data indexed but the Be theme search box is not redirecting to the correct result page and does not send any query to my SOLR server. What do I have to do to activate the WPSOLR search?

I am not very confident with development, would be nice to get detailed instructions how to get it working. I found the following pages but what do I have to do?

What you ask for, requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact your web developer. Item Policy says:
