Hi team, is there not option to add sub menu to the menu bar via "Empty" menu bar?

I have sub-pages that need to be assigned to the parent page when hovered over and cannot find this option. 

Please advise!

HI,
what do you mean exactly by "empty" bar?
The menu system is the default wordpress one and it is not theme related.
Just go to appaerance>menus and assign your menu structure.

I'm trying to create a sub menu for specific menu items. I do not see an option for this. 

When i add sub pages for parent p[ages, the menu tab does not showcase the sub menu items.  For example:

MENU BAR: Which you can see here... http://rockn.rocknhosting.com has HOME, OUR STUDIO, SHOWCASE AND CONTACT.  In wordpress, over added industry (form of pages) under showcase too showcase the different industries we do work for.  But on the live site, the sub-menu does not display.

You have to change  your menu layout.

Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Header

Can you change it to Classic?
