favicon does not save

i uploaded a favicon to medialibrary and to the child theme root and child/images. Then i edit the header.php with all favicon code. After that i changed the muffin option for favicon.
But then i save my page to bookmarks (firefox) the favicon is not displayed?
Do you know why?

But why you edit the code? Favicon can be uploaded in Theme options > Layout > General section. However, as we see , favicon works properly on your website. IT is red circle with black bird inside.

you´re right, but i am wondering why the favicon doesn't appear when i save the page as bookmark. (i edit the code because i want to support any other devices like mobile phone and tablets)
