Issue with Section Background (Center | No-Repeat | Fixed)

Hello

On a couple of our websites recently, sometimes when we have a section that has an image background with the "background | position" set to "center | no-repeat | fixed", the background image doesn't display properly, and instead it displays a background color (or, if we have no background color, it will just be white). I am able to remedy it by setting the background position to parallax, or in some cases, using CSS to change the .section position to something other than relative (but in some cases that breaks other sections).

Is this a known issue with a recent Wordpress update? I ask because the two sites in question we've seen this on have two different versions of BeTheme (one is up to date, one is older).

The real oddity is that on the site with older BeTheme, it's a background on the home page, while a background with the same style on another page completely displays fine. The issue also appears to be more with Google Chrome, as it's showing properly in Safari for both.

Please advise, and thank you in advance for any assistance.

  • Hi,
Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co
    thanks
