Jquery link to portfolio category

Hi there,

I need a way to link to an individual portfolio category from an outside page (i.e. home page).

I see how I can link to the category this way: http://144.208.71.110/~all8/work-type/multi-family/

But it's different than going to the work page and then click on the Multi Family category: 

http://144.208.71.110/~all8/work/

For one, it thinks it's on the blog section and highlights that category and for two, the jquery filtering no longer works; instead of filtering the items on the page it sends you to a new page. 

Please advise. Is there a way around with with a jquery function?

Hi,

Dynamic filtering is working only on main page with all category,

There isn't any way to make it work without redirect outside the main page of portfolio.
