How to have 2 blog pages with 2 different filters at the top?

Hi Muffin Group,

I have made a blog page and it has a few categories and a filter for them here: https://www.yoake.lu/news/

Next i want to make a page for job postings using the blog functionality so when new posts are categorised as "careers" they appear on this new page for jobs. For example here; https://www.yoake.lu/careers/

I don't what the category "careers" to appear on the main blog page in the filters.

I thought i would be able to just specify the categories to use on the main blog page and specify only the careers category on the new careers page BUT when i specify the categories this removes the filter from both pages - the filter only appears when you select "All" categories.,,

How do i use the blog functionality twice and show different filters for each blog page not showing the same category on both pages?

https://www.yoake.lu/news/ - all categories except "careers" - filterable
https://www.yoake.lu/careers/ - just the careers category - not filterable.

  • Hi,
It's not possible with way you said but.

You can make on news page (which will be main blog page) all without careers,
go to Theme Options > Blog, portfolio & Shop > Blog and type in Exclude Category 'careers'

And then, create second page named similar to careers, and put there a "Blog" item and select only the careers category (i do not have a career category, so i'll show you other item)

That's the only way this can work.
    Thanks.
