Unable to enable comments for Pages

Is there anything special I need to do with Betheme settings to allow for comments on a page? I've tried enabling it but I don't see the comments are allowed.

Hi,

Make sure your discussion settings are configured correctly in Settings > Discussion

Also, please try disabling all the plugins before enabling comments for page.
