Portfolio custom sorting

Hi there,

Is it possible to define a custom sorting method for portfolio items, when they appear on portfolio grid?

e.g. sort portfolio grid based on Alternative Text field of the images being displayed, or is there any other sorting criterion to be used?

All options of ordering can be found in Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio > Options section
