Error: Failed to load resource: cannot parse response

When I try to update the plugins in the "Install Plugins" section of the site I get the error: Failed to load resource: cannot parse response and the plugin doesn't update.

On the Betheme dashboard I have all green checks, so the server should be set up correctly.

Please disable all of the plugins first, clear cache then try to update.
