Header image/Rev slider on Blogpost

edited August 18 in Blog
I've been searching on this forum and been trying out different theme options for a few hours now, but for some reason I can't get a Rev slider or Header Image to work on the blog post page. For some reason, the settings in the blog post doesn't seem to work. Either the "header image" field of the "Slider | Revolution Slider" field does not work. Nothing is being displayed. The result is a "blank" header.

I'm trying to achieve a custom header image or slider on the blogpage with a transparent menu on top, just like the home page.

Screenshot of the settings.

    That didn't work. I deleted the post and recreated it. I've disabled all caching and plugins, but I can't seem to get my head on this.

    Layout > Template > Default Template
    Media > REV > Blogslider

    The revslider is shown under the breadcrums. This is not what I expected.

    Layout > Template > Intro Header
    Media > REV > Blogslider

    No revslider is shown at all. When I change the header image, the image is show this time.

    I'm still unsure on how I get a rev slider on a posts page under the menu.

    PS, I cant find where to add "templates" or change them. (Layout > Template )

  • When I chose to use the default template, the rev slider is gone. I'm really struggling with the layout.

    Another example;

    I made a page with only the short-code [bbp-forum-index]
    #header works fin
    But when I click on a forum link, for example;
    #header is gone.
