Slow Load Times

I have a few sites that I have used betheme on and each one of them get a really bad score when I test on google using their website here: https://testmysite.thinkwithgoogle.com

Are there things I should be doing other than adding a cache system to improve the load times to get a better page score? I have noticed load times to always be an issue with BeTheme and it has gotten way better in the last couple years but I see there are still some issues. 

What are you suggestions to avoid these issues? I have also tried to optimize my images but I guess I should probably try to optimize them more? There has to be a better way?

How fast the page works is up to the user and it is not theme related. We get good scores, if you are using larger images, lots of plugins then it might slow down your website.

Try using cache plugins, they speed up things a bit.
