in accordance to your classes names, this can be done within below css:

.ve1 { background: none; }

but the background remind blue...

We gave you different css above and that's why probably your code does not work.

.ve1 code is already taken by another infobox that i use. so i need now 
to change that particular box wich i gave it a code: .i1 to make it without 
background color.

Ok. As we see, you use css to setup background color for this infobox. We recommend to remove this css and use below instead:

.i1 .infobox { background: none !important; }

no background color at infobox?
