Force regenerate Thumbnail Warning

I got the Warning, that force regenerate thumbnail is banned from Wordpress. What shell i do know. there are no new updates and betheme recommend this plugin. Wordfence says it makes no sense if you recomend this plugin and there is no maintance.

I have no problems with this tool.

But wordpress gives this message: This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress.
It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility
issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

And wordfrence give me this warning: The Plugin "Force Regenerate Thumbnails" appears to be abandoned (updated 6. September 2016, tested to WP 4.0.24).Type: Plugin Abandoned

I cannot use a plugin, that perhaps makes problems in my online shop.

it cannot be that i am the only user who get this messages?

If you're worried about your website, please before using this tool, make a backup with this plugin:

We use a force regenerate thumbnail and it works good.
