Is there a way to encrypt web source code?

I want to hide the version number of wordpress from the "web source code" to make the site a little safer. But downloading some hide wordpress Plugin will cause the theme can't run normally .
I want to try to wrap it in JavaScript, but in fact I am a newcomer to set up a website. I don't know if this is feasible in betheme?
