Translate the built-in texts in Theme Options / Translate

Hi, im having a problem i have installed WPML and i want to translate the built-in texts that are in the "Translate" tab in the "Theme options"
For example in "General" the "Search Placeholder".
Here is the issue, my default language is Spanish and i have an English translation. If I leave the field empty i get the default text for spanish and english version of the site. If i complete it i get that text for both version. How could i get two different texts for each translation?
