I installed the "Travel" demo. I am trying to change the "beach" background to one of my own. I uploaded one under theme options, however, the beach background still shows and not my custom one. 

Any idea why? I am working on my local PC

please try to use below custom css:

.page-id-2033 { background: none; }

Unfortunately it didn't change anything. I did confirm the page ID and it is 2033

Above css should work because we tested it on our demo and above css helps. So if does not in your case, without url to your website we won`t be able to help. You can try also below css but this probably won`t do anything else if above wasn`t good:

.page-id-2033 { background-image: none; }
