Maintenance mode

Hi, 

I would like a specifically designed page (within the theme) to be the maintenance page. But the theme states I can't use the Visual composer on this page. why is this not possible? I need a work-around. How can I make a maintenance page that is created with visual composer?

As you see, the VC is not working on Visual Composer plugin:

Unfortunately, there is no official work-around.
