Displaying blog content

I am trying to have content from blog posts to appear on certain pages but it seems like the plain text is displayed once a blog category displays.

Is it possible to have the visual content to display? 

I tried using shortcodes, but they are simply invisible.

You will have to use the excerpt field in each single post.

To do this, edit the page and find the excerpt field on the bottom of the page, if you do not see it, you will need to enable this in the screen options (top right corner of the page edit)

Please note that you cannot use HTML in this field. Only plain text.

It sounds like the excerpt field will do the same thing as the content field. Is it possible to have the output display using HTML?

You would have to edit theme files and it is a lot of work.

We do not support such changes so unfortunatelly we will be not able to help.
