Why is the Muffin Builder crashing?

Well, thought the php.ini settings were off, I was wrong. The problem persists. 

Here's a screen shot of the issue:

Any ideas how to fix this?

Quick update: 

I find the issue begins when I start clicking on the edit button and making changes to the fields. Afterwards, I see an error in the bottom left corner: 

javascript:void(0);

And the sections begin to look like this (you can see the section below, which I didn't modified, looks normal and behaves normally until I begin modifying the settings.)
