Instagram Link in Bio Breaks BeTheme?

Here's a doozy.

I have added my link to Instagram:

https://thecrazycanadian.com/ask-me-anything

....and, I have my site "Under Construction" using the link above as the redirect "go to". However, if I make the link in my instagram profile as https://thecrazycanadian.com, you can see a broken version of my homepage:

And, check out what happens when I change it to the link mentioned above:

Any ideas how to fix this? Is this a BeTheme bug? Server side issue? Instagram flaw?

  • Hi,
It looks like "AMP" plugin or something similar to this plugin.
Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache and check, if the issue exists.
    Thanks
  • Hi Pablo,

I tried deactivating AMP and a couple other related plugins. It still causes the same error.
  • Is there a bug with responsive or do I not have my settings correct?

On a page, I have two sections. On one, I set the "Responsive Visibility" to Hide on Desktop | 960+; on the other it is set to "Hide On Mobile + Tablet".

Whichever section is on top seems to "dominate" and blocks out all readability of the bottom section.

Meaning, when the "Hide Desktop" is placed above, the "Hide on Mobile" doesn't load. However, if I switch the sections and put the "Hide on Mobile" on top, the "Hide Desktop" doesn't load.

I just started developing on an entirely new server without any plugins installed and minimal adjustments to the BeTheme settings.

    How can this be solved?

  • !! Quick Update !!

When I toggle the "Responsive" option in the BeTheme Settings, the Desktop version appears, however, the site obviously loses it's ability to be responsive.
