Blog author filtering not working correctly

We have a site/blog using Be theme and the blog author filter is not working correctly, as you can see here:

http://staging.conversant.com/blog/

The filter doesn't show all possible blog authors, and it also doesn't display all the posts from that author when you attempt to apply the filter.

What do you recommend?

Ok, I figured one thing out. Some authors had been imported as subscribers, so when I changed them to authors, they are now appearing in the filter.

However, there is still a problem. There are WP users in the filter who are not authors, but Admins and even these users are listed in the filter, even though they have no blogs that are associated with their account.

How can this be fixed?

You can use the password "vitality"

You can fix this problem by changing the amount of the "posts per page".

Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog

Insert there an amount like 999.
