Removing Buy Button in theme and changes not showing up on mobile phone

Hello.

I am using the theme "writer." I can't get the "buy now" button on the top menu to be removed. How do I do that?  

Also, the changes I have made on my desktop are fine but not all changes are taking place on my Iphone. What is wrong?

Hi,
What you are referring to is the action button. Please go to theme options>header&subheader>extras and change the action button. See here: http://prntscr.com/fb1egt
We sometimes also add the 'BUY NOW' button as the last menu item, be sure to go to apperance>menus and check there as well.
