How can I force a sidebar in a custom post type category page? Is there something I can add to the functions file? I don't want sidebars on every page.
Hi, Unfortunately, it's not possible. You can only apply the sidebar on all post on the blog.
What you ask for, requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact your web developer.
All I can suggest you is inserting in Muffin Builder some item. It will be displayed on top of the post content. cheers
