Visual Editor/page editor broken in BeTheme update 20.8.9.2

I am using Betheme on one of my WP websites. I updated to the newest version and now the visual editor no longer works.  It was working perfectly minutes before the update and ceased immediately after.  I can open a 'page' but am unable to click anything else.  This includes the 'edit pencil icon', clone option, hide option etc.  

All that happens is my Chrome window expands by a few pixels and Chrome displays an error "This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources"  If i choose to visit the page regardless it pops up as about:blank.

Nothing changed on the site except the new betheme update.  I ran a malware scan through my hosting provider - nothing.

The website loads fine otherwise, but editing pages on the backend is broken.

Please advise asap on how to fix this issue.

I should add I have tried using both Firefox and Edge but the results are the same.

i noticed this on inspection.  looks like an issue with the theme update.

Hi,

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache and check if the issue still exists.

Also, please use this plugin: http://muffingroup.com/plugins/mfn-migrate-cb.zip

to migrate all HTTP links to HTTPS.
