Images in blogslider are clipped

I am so frustrated - I use the blogslider on almost every site I build - always in BeTheme, but for some reason, on this site: https://www.galaxyautodetailing.ca/, the image comes in clipped rather than full size. Here is what it is doing: https://www.galaxyautodetailing.ca/ - under green box where it says: Enjoy 30% OFF.
I have never had to make any adjustments before and I have the featured image sizes set to exactly the same as I have on all my other sites, but it is right-justifying (or maybe centering it up thereby clipping it into a square, rather than adjusting to the size of the image which is 600 x 300. I am just dumbfounded.,

Here is an example where the picture is exactly the same size: 600 x 300 on another site and it is perfect - not clipping it or centering it: https://xtremeautodetailnd.com/ - see under "It's Lovely weather for..." it adjusted itself and right next to that is another blog slider "Are You Tired of Jack Frost..." and that picture is larger and it adjusted automatically without my having to change the size.
What is wrong with the Galaxy Detailing site blog slider?
I have tried changing the sizes in BeTheme Options, under settings, and I have force regenerated thumbnails and nothing works!
Here is another site where the images automatically resize proportionally in the blogslider without clipping: https://billthebuffman.com/ - every image in these blogsliders adjusted themselves.

  • Hi,
Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.
It looks like the problem is with "jetpack" plugin.

Also, your HTML code is issued, these parameters don't exist in basic HTML.

    Thanks
  • Thank you so much! I fixed both - I think I am going to quit using Jetpack altogether! I like their menus better than Muffin Menus (which have that gray background), and I like some of their footer widgets, but Jetpack constantly causes problems that I cannot see. This is the 3rd time recently I have had to deactivate it because of some problem it was causing - usually on mobile. Is this a flaw in Jetpack or is it a compatibility issue with BeTheme?
  • The Jetpack plugin is usually making issues to BeTheme's features.
As you said, yes, it's a compatibility problem.

If you don't like our Muffin Menus, you can try our new Muffin Header Builder, it's in late beta now, but we do not see any bugs or issues with it.
