Adding a new language to the site- multi-language

Hi 

I want to add another language to my site. 

the main language will be english and to add in a menu a place where the user can switch to a different language 

I don't see where can I add this feature in the site ?

And where can I update all the translation after that?

DO I have an option to do it without using WPML Installer?-  

If I don't have a way to do so- Can we just update in the menu a language selector and I will redirect the users to a diffrent url?

Hi,

You can do it without the WPML but surely it won't be that easy as with a WPML.

So, it's possible in two ways:

1) Clone your pages and translate them to English language and inserting the button to get to the other language pages.

2) Creating a subdomain and installing the duplicated version of this same page, then translating it.

You can register unlimited subdomains with one license key, as long as the main domain is registered under the same key.

I saw that there is alot of other add-ons that claim to help with multi-languge sites. 

Is there any recommandations?
