Why am I being asked to supply dashboard access to my websites?

I'm trying to solve an issue with license keys, I wrote about my issue here in the forum, and I was then directed to send an email through the contact web form. I'm now being contacted by
[email protected] telling me to provide login credentials to my
sites. Is this standard practice? This sounds incredibly shady!

Yes, this is standard practice.
If the issue is hard to explain or we just want to know what makes an issue to some features, then we ask people for access.
Don't worry, we'll not destroy your website

But as I said in previous reply, the 1) way is used only when the issue is hard to explain or we are not sure what can make issues.
