How to use gallery

Hi,

I make a new website with your default ICECREAM theme.

You have a gallery on one page but I don't understand how to to use it to change the pictures.

I have something like this on the gallery box:

[gallery columns="4" link="file" ids="36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43" style="fancy"]

How attribute other pictures please ?

Hi,

You have to add or change ids in this shortcode.

IDs of images can be found in WP Dashboard > Media > Library after selecting the image

An other question: I see on the galery, small picture are with a blurring effect. Pictures looks are not good quality in small. But when we clic on the picture, pop up full size, image quality is perfect. Where can i disable this blurring effect ?

Please go to Theme Options > Global > General

and change the Image Frame style to "Disable hover effect"

Hi,

It's blurry because size of this image is 'thumbnail".

You have to increase the resolution of these images.

Here are
instructions for changing them:

To change the size of the default WordPress gallery images, please go
to settings>media.

Notice!
Remember to use thumbnail regeneration after you make your changes. Otherwise, the images will not change their size.

it works fine, thank you for help !

It seams to have issue between wp and your theme. In WP media center, when I select a picture and want to resize/scale it (only for thumbails for exemple), function is not available (resize button is there but doesn't works). If I change for default tweenty wp theme, native resize function from wp works again. Do you have a solution for that ? I have already seen this issue on forums but without solution.

I tested what you said and it works fine with BeTheme turned on.

Is your theme up to date?

Did you test it with all of the plugins disabled?

This option works after selecting the image part to cut:

After your intervention, I have no more pictures on my website. All pictures are gone on all pages ?

Hey,

what do you mean that all images are not showing? This is not possible.

This is a wordpress feature that should work fine and is not theme related.

Please disable all plugins, then create a new page and insert one image for testing.

Crop and resize that image and then let us know how it went.
