Missing: related posts images & line breaks after galleries in blog posts

Hello. Two problems:

1) The image galleries within blog posts don't insert a line break after them, which causes problems with the text content that follows.
Examples:
- https://www.fangirlquest.com/travel/game-of-thrones-experiences-northern-ireland/ (search for sentence "We started the day at Fair Head" AND the very last bit of text after the last images)
https://www.fangirlquest.com/travel/hotel-oscar-varkaus/ (look at the last image in the post and how the text aligns all weird after.)

2) I'm missing the featured images / thumbnails from related posts after each blog post and from search results etc. How can I bring them back without bringing back the featured image on single posts and pages?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

  • Oh, and in addition: the tag search seems to be completely useless. See any blog post and try to list posts under a certain tag - it just shows the latest posts which have nothing to do with the tag :/
  • Hi,
    1) It's good behavior of the text.
    It prevents overlapping.
To fix it, you should insert there a <hr> https://i.imgur.com/kY5ial1.png tag or <br> break it.

    2) This is a basic Wordpress search feature.
It's not possible to customize this page with the BeTheme.
If you would like to change it, then you have to edit Wordpress files, but we do not support it.

    Thanks
  • Well, adding a <hr> manually to each and every one of our photo galleries within our 270 published articles and three dozen pages just isn't what I'm looking to do with my time, so I've solved it myself by placing the image caption on top of the images instead of below them. It's not ideal, but better than the manual work.

Before I installed this theme, a photo gallery automatically BROKE THE TEXT LINE AFTER (as Wordpress does), so I'm not sure how it's "good behaviour" for that to change.

Anyway. I'll keep it like this until someone can fix it for me.
  • I'm glad that you found the workaround.
You can post your suggestion to fix this behavior or add possibility to customize this option in this topic:

If you have some further questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks
  • Hello! I'm not missing the titles of my pages. I'm quite sure I looked everywhere but none of the settings seem to help. Can you think of anything that could've gone wrong? Thanks!
  • Hi,
I do not see this issue:

    Did you solve your issue?
    Or I just misunderstood you?
    Thanks
  • Hello, I actually got it solved just an hour ago, thank you!

I had to hide the post titles but show (and edit to my needs) the subheaders. Otherwise I had double headers for posts.

Just in case anyone else runs into the same problem!
