Relative path of the links

Previously, In the Icon Box element we were using relative path for example - url/ instead of https://example.com/url/ but after updating the theme all the relative links stopped working. Is it a bug or do you guys have removed the support for relative links? and what is the fix?

Hey,

it is the new security rules. We have to use full links.

Also HTML in most of the items and inputs in theme options is no longer possible.

No sorry, the only sollution is to change it manually.

That i understood but is there a way to detect that there are so many links on this page which needs to be changed?

Not really, you would have to go thu them all. There is no way of finding those because the all are different. The do not share the same part.

Can't we use some sort of query which says - if link field doesn't have http or https or www or website url in it then it should count in a "Warning"?

Ofcrouse if you would write a script that finds all href="http or scr="http then it will work. We just cannot help you with writing such code. We only help with theme related questions and provide simple css.

Yeah, I can do that but I would appreciate if you guys have provided a solution for that. e.g. plugin. Since it was a part of the theme. Thanks

No sorry, we cannot do that. The only sollution is to change it manually.

You can open the source ( ctrl+u) of the website and search for those links, then change them in the backend. It will be way faster than looking for a plugin or writing custom code.
