Slider Revolution Install

I have been trying to install this plugin for ages without success.

A few questions:

1) Why is there a /revslider folder in plugins before I even install the plugin?
2) Because there is already a folder on the server but no plugin, when I try to install the plugin in Wordpress it says there is already a folder there. So I have to delete it first before trying to install it.
3) Then when I try to install it again after deleting the folder on the server, I get the error message ""Download failed. cURL error 56: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer"

Can you help? This is getting very frustrating.

    Hi,
    This folder will appear even if your installation was aborted because of some error, this is normal behavior.
    You should contact your hosting provider because cURL issues are usually related to hosting.
    He should already recognize and amend this issue by looking at the error message

    Yes, the plugin cannot download because of refused connection.
    It cannot be fault of our server because a lot of people are downloading the plugins/update from our server and it's working without any issue.

    Please contact your hosting provider, he should recognize and fix this problem.
