Good morning everyone...

I wonder if it's possible to add custom fields to portfolio item. In my scenario the portfolio presents theatrical works, and for each item I would like to add info like director, actors, music composer, light designer and so on, so each time I create a new portfolio item I could fill those info and display them in the front-end.

Hi,

Unfortunately, BeTheme does not have such functionality.

But, you can create your template for the 'theatrical works' and if this will be ready, then use the import/export tool

I mean, export the template code and import it in the new portfolio item.

Yes, the solution you provided is the first one I've adopted. Nevertheless it involves a specific setup for the portfolio item template and o achieve the best layout result I need to extensively us e the Muffin Builder, placing  images, text columns, etc... and in the text columns of course I will pue some extra code to fulfill the layout needs...

The "problem" is that once the website will be ready and the client will have to manage it, I'm afraid he can make a mess with the code... A solution with custom fields would be helpful in that way :-)

Unfortunately, this is the only way which I can suggest.
The way with custom fields is really simple, but it's not possible to achieve without theme customization.
