Multiple Google fonts not working after update to 21.0.8

Hi,

Today I started to update my portfolio of websites using BETHEME to version 21.0.8, but I noticed after updating couple of websites that Google fonts are not showing correctly, so I stopped updating the rest of the sites using BeTheme. I tried everything (like deleting cache etc), but the issue seems to be related to your latest improvement included in 21.0.8:

* Improved: Google Fonts - Load all selected fonts via single HTTP request

When I have more than 1 Google font selected for the website, the theme will upload only one and ignores the other fonts. So it seems to me that your improvement of loading all selected Google fonts via single https request is not working.

When I look at the page source and try to find your Google font http request, I find this:

<link rel='stylesheet' id='mfn-fonts-css'  href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:1,300,400,500,600,700,900&amp;#038;subset=latin-ext&amp;#038;ver=5.0.3' type='text/css' media='all' />

It is not loading all selected fonts. Will you make a fix for this?

this might be an issue caused by the update, like you mentioned.

We would like to check what is happening so we can fix it.

maybe it was cache, but on the server side?

We checked and it looks like the font is loading fine:

Hi Bryan,

Sorry, but I think you are wrong. 

You sent me the screenshots showing what's in the code of the page – the font definition is correct in the HTML code, but the font is not loaded and not showing correctly. This is how BITTER font should look like (it is a serif type of font not the one you sent on the picture):

If you look at the page source code, you will see that only one font is loading (Source Sans Pro) and Bitter is not loading:

This is not a server cache problem.

Hey,

you were right, sorry about that.

The issue was the subset - with the subset set the fonts did not load. It was due to the new update where all fonts are loaded as an array in one line.

We have changed it for you in the theme files for now. On friday there will be an update with a fix to this issue.

Is the fix easy? I have one more website that was updated and it doesn't have fonts it should have. And the client is not happy

yes you can just switch two lines in the functions/theme-head.php file.
