video on a button click?

How can I have a video play (vimeo) from when a button is clicked on a slider? I want someone to press play and then a video pops up.

Oh and I do know how to link to a video but what I want is like a pop up which looks like the video option you can have within the rest of the BE Theme. At the moment I have a link that goes to vimeo page.
