Changes in muffinbuilder are not saved

Hi, 

I have a probem editting a website (http://rian-permanent-makeup.nl) using the Muffinbuilder. I can go and edit the page, but when i hit save the page returns a 500 error or gets stuck on saving. I already tried a multitude of possible solutions and i do not know what to do next.

I already tried: 

• Updating wordpress = no succes
• Contact hosting support = no problems there
• disable all plugins = no succes
• Try classic editor = no succes

The strange thing is that changes to the title or main bodyfield do get saved. But as soon as i use the MuffinBuilder these changes are not applied. Hoping for some help.  Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Please open your website in Firefox html mode (CTRL+U) and check html errors you got. Please fix them first and all should be fine.

Hi again, 

I tried working in Firefox and i don't get any html errors. The moment i try saving the website it gets stuck saving. But only with content in de Muffin editor. Content in the page body itself does get saved. I don't think this has anything todo with the html?

Hey,

this sounds very weird. Please try to disable all of your plugins and check if it works without them.

Please also check your system status tab in betheme dashboard. Maybe your hosting enviroment is somehow limited?

Mentioned in my original post i mentioned that i tried those things already:

Its not on a specific page but on all pages that use the editor. Could it be like a corrupt file or something?

Hi,

Please update the BeTheme to the newest version first.

Here is an instruction on how to update the theme:
http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#general
Theme updates will not delete your content unless you have changed the
files directly in which case we suggest using a child theme.
We also recommend creating a backup file.
Please remove the theme completely from your theme folder and install a
fresh copy. Do not overwrite files.
