Corrupted Betheme Files

Hello,

I am trying to save changes and update my pages but the changes are not being saved.  Also, I have not modified the pages except for the home, and when I open the page, no sections or elements appear.  Viewing the page live, it does have content.  Could you please tell me how to resolve this issue or should I reinstall the theme?  If this is the case, can you guide me through the correct process and if possible how to make a backup of the homepage.
