Logo and Header on mobile

I have just started using the Betheme and I'm beginning to get a grip of it. One problem I have at the moment is that the header and logo are not appearing on mobile/tablet screens.  I have set a smaller logo for them, but to no avail.
Is there a setting I should be looking for?

    I've solved it.

    I had set up a custom under construction page and left the page itself in default format. I could see the header OK on my PC because I was logged in, but I wasn't logged in on my phone, so it didn't appear. When I changed the page type to under construction, the header vanished from my PC too. 
    I noticed then that Headers are disabled in under construction mode.

    I've now fudged it in the UC page
